Porter & Chilli Pork Belly Stirfry

Cooking time approx 1.5 hours - so worth it!

Ingredients

  • 1kg Pork Belly whole
  • Water enough to cover the pork
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 jar Porter Jelly
  • 1 tbsp Chinese Rice Wine
  • 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 3 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 250g Green Beans chopped

Method

  1. Place Pork Belly into a large pot
  2. Cover with boiling water
  3. Add salt
  4. Simmer for 1 hour
  5. Remove Pork Belly
  6. Allow to cool for approx 20mins
  7. Dice up into approx 1cm cubes
  8. Put your favorite stir fry pan on the stove
  9. Heat it up
  10. Add the Pork Belly stirfry until slightly golden
  11. Add the rice wine, soy and garlic fry for 2 mins
  12. Add the Porter and Chilli Jelly
  13. Add Beans fry for a further 2 mins
  14. Enjoy on a bed of rice with an Asian salad
