Slow Cooked Brisket with Hot Sour Sweet Salty Sauce & Aubergine & Chilli Pickle

Slow Cooked Brisket with Hot Sour Sweet Salty Sauce & Aubergine & Chilli Pickle - you will be amazed at what you have created from the first to the last mouthful. Serve with rice and asian greens or on a bao! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1.2 -2 kg Brisket
  • 1 bottle of Hot Sour Sweet Salty Sauce (250ml)
  • 250g Aubergine & Chilli Pickle
  • 4 Star Anise

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees
  2. Place all of the ingredients into an oven proof dish with a lid
  3. With the lid on place into your oven
  4. Put your timer on for 3 hours (you can set it for every hour to baste the meat if you like)
  5. Enjoy!! OR
  6. Slow cooker option
  7. Put your slow cooker on high
  8. Place all ingredients into your slow cooker
  9. Cook for 6-8 hours
  10. Enjoy
