The Cunliffe & Waters Story

Since 1996, Cunliffe & Waters has been creating award-winning Australian jams, marmalades, chutneys, relishes, sauces and preserves from the heart of Victoria’s Yarra Valley.

Founded by Amanda Cunliffe, the business began with a simple commitment: to make exceptional preserves using quality ingredients, traditional methods and the same care we would put into food made for our own table. Every product is handcrafted in small batches, with plenty of flavour and a little extra to share.

Our jams and marmalades are cooked quickly to capture the vibrant colour and natural flavour of the fruit. Our savoury preserves are slowly simmered to develop their rich taste and perfect texture. We use quality Australian ingredients wherever possible, along with natural preservatives, and all but one product in our range is gluten-free.

In 2017, Simone and Joshua O’Dea took over Cunliffe & Waters. After working alongside Amanda for more than 20 years, Simone brought an invaluable understanding of the recipes, processes and values behind the brand.

Today, Simone and Josh continue to build on those foundations, combining more than three decades of preserving expertise with fresh ideas and a genuine love of great food. From our Yarra Valley kitchen to tables across Australia, every jar reflects our commitment to quality, flavour and beautifully made Australian produce.

From preparing our small-batch preserves to managing orders, deliveries and markets, meet the people whose care, skill and personality help bring our products to customers across Australia.

Belinda expertly manages orders, the cooking schedule, and our team, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
